Logging in to Tickney has become easier than ever for co-workers. If you hire external staff and want them to track hours directly in Tickney, all they really need is a smartphone.
With our mobile app users can track time directly while they working or are on the go. One issue we some users where having trouble with, however, was the fact that these external users needed a computer to login at the web-application, so they can scan the barcode that is required when you setup the mobile app. This isn’t required anymore.
Barcode op hand-out
As administrator, you can now easily print the barcode the user needs to install his of her smartphone-app. So the new user doesn’t need to use a pc to find out that barcode himself:
When you choose to print the barcode you’ll get a nice welcome-letter you can easily hand-out to the new user. All the user needs to do now is:
- Download the app from the app store (iOS and Android)
- Scan the barcode on the hand-out
